“I had the pleasure of hiring Dallas for my most recent birth. My husband and I put a lot of thought into my birth team. When I initially talked with Dallas I knew she was the perfect choice for my photographer and videographer for my birth. This was my third birth and I had never hired someone like her before. This pregnancy was very special to me and my husband because we had miscarried before and then waited over two years to finally conceive. I had planned everything about my birth and wanted to have a water birth at the birth center. Unfortunately, due to my fast delivery I ended up delivering at a gas station on the way to the birth center. It was quite the experience for my whole family. I was very distraught about how it all turned out. But, in the midst of this big disappointment, Dallas captured such beautiful moments before and after my birth. I was amazed with her photos and videos. She was so responsive when I reached out to her during my contractions, and she showed up at my house right away. “As a student midwife, I had the opportunity to meet and see many birth photographers in action. I met Dallas at a Doula event and a few weeks later I had the opportunity to participate in a birth with her and there I decided that she was the one I wanted to be at my birth.
